Leopard geckos require a heat and light source to regulate their body temperature. Half of their enclosure must be warm while the other half is cooler to create temperature gradients. You must be careful when handling your pet since they can carry diseases and salmonella. Clean your hands before and after handling them, and wash your hands after touching any part of their habitat.
